How to Sync Helium out to Google, Apple, or Other Calendars (Private Feeds)

Created by Alex Laird, Modified on Sat, 15 Nov at 11:16 AM by Alex Laird

You can take your Helium schedules with you to other calendars by using Feeds, which allow you to continuously sync Helium data to other applications through the standard iCal/ICS URLs (for example, here is where you would put these URLs in Google Calendar).

If you're looking for a way to bring other calendars in to Helium instead, that is the External Calendars feature.

If you're looking to export data to a portable iCal/ICS file for import in to a different application, see this article instead.

Find & Enable Your Feed URLs

  1. Sign in to your Helium account
  2. Go to Account → Settings → Feeds
  3. Click Enable
  4. Helium provides individual Feeds for:
    • Assignments
    • Class Schedule
    • Events
  5. Copy these URLs to other applications to show your Helium calendar(s) there

Notes About Feeds

  • Other applications can only display Helium calendars through Feeds, they cannot modify them
  • Feeds may refresh on their own schedule
  • Feeds are disabled by default for privacy reasons
