Signing In with Google or Apple

In addition to signing in with an email and password, Helium supports signing in with your Google or Apple account. This lets you log in without managing a separate password.

Available Providers

  • Google — available on iOS, Android, and web
  • Apple — available on iOS and web

How to Sign In

  1. On the login screen, tap Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple
  2. Complete the sign-in prompt from Google or Apple
  3. If this is your first time signing in, Helium will create an account for you and link it to this third-party provider

Linking an Existing Account

If you already have a Helium account with an email and password, you can link it to your Google or Apple account (as long as the email address matches). Follow the same steps above for "How to Sign In", and when the process completes, Helium will detect your existing account by the matching email address, and merge them.

Once linked, you can sign in using either your email and password or Google/Apple—whichever is more convenient.

Account Management with OAuth

If your account was created entirely through Google or Apple sign-in (no password was set), the Change Password option will not appear in Settings, and Forgot Password doesn't do anything. Password management for those accounts is handled through the respective provider (Google/Apple).

If your account has a linked OAuth provider, the Change Email option will not appear in Settings.

If your account is linked to both a password and an OAuth provider, the Change Password option remains available.
