Re-Importing the "Example Schedule"

Note: The ability to re-import the Example Schedule is currently being migrated to the new Helium. In the meantime, you'll need to use Helium Classic to import it (though you'll find this takes effect in both new and Classic)—see the Helium Classic section below for instructions. Helium Classic will remain available through at least Summer 2026.

Overview

When you first create a Helium account, an example schedule is pre-loaded so you can explore the app before entering your own data. A Getting Started dialog will continue to appear on login until you choose to clear that example data.


If you've already cleared the example data in the new Helium and want to restore it, this is currently only available in Helium Classic.


Helium Classic

To re-import the Example Schedule in Helium Classic:

  1. Sign in to your Helium account
  2. Navigate to Account → Settings → Import/Export
  3. Select Re-Import Example Schedule

The example data imports separately from any existing data, in its own distinct groups.

Once you've finished exploring, visit the Calendar and click Delete Example Schedule on the dialog that appears.


Helium Classic will remain available through at least Summer 2026.
