Backup files are created and restored using the Import/Export feature in Helium Classic. See Using Exports to Backup Data, Move Between Accounts for step-by-step instructions.

Note: In Helium Classic, Resources are referred to as Materials—backup files from Helium Classic will contain a "Material Groups" section, which corresponds to Resource Groups in the new Helium.

Helium Classic will remain available through at least Summer 2026.
