Using Resources to Track Study Materials

Created by Helium Support, Modified on Mon, 23 Feb at 2:20 PM by Helium Support

The Resources screen lets you track textbooks, software, websites, and any other study materials associated with your classes. Resources are organized into Resource Groups—for example, you could group them by term, or category.

Creating a Resource Group

  1. Open Resources
  2. Tap the + button to create a new group
  3. Enter a Title for the group (e.g., "Spring 2026 Materials", "Textbooks", "Links")
  4. Optionally check Hide this group's resources from Planner if you don't want them displayed on your Planner
  5. Tap Save

Adding a Resource

  1. Select a Resource Group from the list
  2. Tap the + button to add a resource
  3. Fill in the resource details:
    • Title — the name of the resource (required)
    • Classes — one or more classes this resource is associated with
    • Website — a URL for the resource (e.g., a publisher page, textbook, or link to an online app or tool)
  4. Tap Save

Helium Classic

In Helium Classic, Resources are called Materials and are accessible from the Planner menu at Planner → Materials. The concept is the same—materials are organized into Material Groups and can be associated with classes. The field labels and navigation differ slightly, but the same information can be tracked.

Helium Classic will remain available through at least Summer 2026.
