Overview
Helium can display calendars from other services alongside your own schedule, as long as those services provide a public iCal/ICS URL. For example, you can find instructions for getting a Google Calendar iCal URL in Google's own documentation.
Tip: If you're looking to export data from Helium to other calendar, see How to Sync Google, Apple, or Other Calendars in to Helium Using Feeds.
How to Add an External Calendar
- Open Settings → External Calendars
- Tap the + button
- Enter a Name for the calendar
- Paste your iCal/ICS URL
- Choose a Color for how events from this calendar will appear
- Toggle Show on calendar to control whether it displays on your Planner
- Tap Save
Important Notes
- External calendars are read-only within Helium—you cannot create, edit, or delete events from an external calendar within Helium
- External calendars refresh on their own schedule; updates from the source may take some time to appear in Helium
If your external calendar isn't appearing after adding it, see Why Your External Calendars Aren't Showing on the Planner.
