Overview
You can export Helium calendar data to iCal/ICS format for a one-time import into another calendar application. This uses the same Feeds feature that enables continuous sync—the difference is simply whether you paste the URL into a calendar app for ongoing updates, or open it in a browser to download a one-time snapshot.
Tip: If you'd rather keep your schedule continuously in sync with another calendar app, paste the feed URL directly into that app (Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, etc.) instead of a browser. See How to Sync Helium out to Google, Apple, or Other Calendars Using Feeds for more details.
Steps
- Sign in to your Helium account
- Open Settings → Feeds
- If feeds are not yet enabled, tap Enable
- Helium displays individual feed URLs for Assignments, Class Schedules, and Events
- Tap Copy next to the feed you want to export
- Paste the copied URL into your browser's address bar and press Enter—this will download the
.icsfile - If you don't want or need ongoing synchronization, tap Disable once you're done to disable Feeds
Helium Classic
In Helium Classic, each feed URL is directly clickable to trigger a download:
- Sign in to your Helium account
- Navigate to Account → Settings → Feeds
- Select Enable
- Click any of the provided URLs (Assignments, Class Schedule, or Events) to download the
.icsfile directly - Optionally select Disable afterward if continuous syncing isn't needed
Helium Classic will remain available through at least Summer 2026.
