Why Your Assignments or Events Aren’t Showing on the Planner

If something isn't appearing on your Planner, one of the following is usually the cause.

1. Check Your Filters

The Planner has filter options that control what's displayed. If Remember filter selections is enabled (found in Settings → Preferences), filters from a previous session may still be active.

  • A highlighted filter indicator means filters are currently active
  • Verify that Assignments and/or Events are selected in the filters
  • Confirm that the relevant class and category filters aren't excluding the items you're looking for

2. The Class Group Is Hidden

If a class group is hidden, its associated assignments won't appear on the Planner. Check Classes—hidden groups display a closed eye icon. Tap the icon to make the group visible again.

3. You're in the Wrong View

The Todos view displays only Assignments, so Events will never appear there. Switch to Week, Day, Month, or Agenda view if you're looking for Events. See Planner Views, and Changing Your Default for more information.

4. Term or Class Date Mismatch

Class schedules are tied to start and end date ranges. If the date you're viewing falls outside the class's or term's date range, assignments and schedules for that class won't display. Double-check that the dates being viewed in the calendar are within the date range of the term—in particular when using the Todos view. You can verify these dates in Classes.
